Sustainable Seafood Supplier Roundtable - Tuna - Participants Log in

The Tuna Sustainable Suppliers Roundtable is for tuna traders across global supply chains and includes producer companies and organizations that process and ship tuna products as well as major suppliers and retail tuna procurement specialists.

The roundtable is by invitation only and provides the following services to participants:

• A systematic overview of the sustainability issues of tuna products globally, both fresh/frozen and canned, with specific focus on product lines of significance to roundtable members;

   
• A regular briefing on emerging trends in the sector, RFMO CMMs and ecolabels for example, that may impact on current and future supplies; and
   
• An opportunity to discuss matters of common interest, such as an appropriate baseline for sourcing ‘sustainable tuna’ with assurance, also to develop industry positions and to engage directly in Fisheries Improvement Projects for key fisheries.
